Histórias de Sempre é uma série de origem britânica, cuja produção se iniciou em 1981, estendendo-se até 1987, num total de 65 episódios.
Em Portugal, onde foi exibida apenas parcialmente, estreou no início de 1984.
As histórias foram gravadas nos seus locais de origem, tendo como intérpretes os povos nativos.
Os episódios não tinham diálogos, sendo contados por uma narradora, que, no nosso caso, era a atriz Laura Soveral.
Um aspeto marcante desta série foi, sem dúvida, o seu genérico, uma animação com um trovador cuja imagem ia sendo alterada, representando diferentes raças e nações.
Em vários fóruns e blogs, é visível que muita gente se recorda das imagens e da canção (interpretada por Jorge Palma) do genérico, mesmo sem saber qual era o título da série. Há quem lhe chame, por exemplo, Histórias do João.
Histórias de Sempre foi reposta no Agora Escolha, em 1990, sendo exibida enquanto decorria a votação.
Em 2006, a série foi integralmente lançada em DVD, nos Estados Unidos.
